According to her, the theft occurred on March 6, 2023, in broad daylight between 12 pm and 1 pm outside a busy store in PJ Seksyen 17.

“My husband parked the car outside a restaurant during lunchtime, but upon leaving, we discovered that our vehicle had vanished.”

She also added that the incident has raised suspicions about foul play due to the short amount of time the car was in her possession.

The car had only been in their possession for a few days, and they had planned to install anti-theft locks and GPS tracking systems later in the week, but it was too late.

According to the police officer handling the case, MPVs are a frequent target for thieves.

The investigation is ongoing, and the announcer urges others to install anti-theft and GPS systems to prevent similar incidents from happening to them.

The announcer is now considering purchasing a sturdy steering wheel lock to prevent future thefts.
