In response to complaints over the diminutive size of their chicken pieces, KFC Malaysia has introduced a promising solution for disgruntled customers.
Under the new policy, patrons who find their chicken pieces unsatisfactorily small can exchange them for larger ones on the same day of purchase.
This 1-for-1 exchange initiative applies to their Original Recipe, Hot & Spicy, and any promotional chicken flavors available.
KFC Malaysia emphasizes customer satisfaction in their recent announcement, stating, “At KFC, we always do our best to serve you great tasting meals. If you are not satisfied with your meal, you are entitled to a product replacement.”

They further invite feedback, directing customers to their support page online for comments.
However, there are specific terms to heed; the exchange is only possible with a valid purchase receipt, and choices are subject to availability at the time of exchange.
Additionally, the exchange must occur at the store of purchase, and only uneaten or partially eaten chicken pieces are eligible.
This move is seen as a step to reinforce their commitment to quality and customer service, following public complaints about the “pigeon-sized” chicken servings on social media.
