Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob hinted that Monday would be declared as a public holiday (PH) if the Barisan Nasional won a big victory in the 15th General Election and formed a government, Sin Chew Daily reports.

In an university event today, the caretaker PM shared that he hoped the younger generation and college students would vote for Barisan Nasional for the stability and prosperity of the country.

“Thank you for coming back to vote. If the Barisan Nasional wins and is established, Monday will be a holiday.”
A total of 600 university students attended the gathering.
