In his latest episode of the Keluar Sekejap podcast, the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail, has commended Democratic Action Party (DAP) leaders Hannah Yeoh and Liew Chin Tong for their unwavering dedication to their work on serving the people.
TMJ expressed these views during his appearance on the podcast show “Keluar Sekejap,” hosted by former Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin and former UMNO Information Chief Shahril.
In the 1-hour 30-minute-long podcast, Khairy initiated the conversation by mentioning the “DAP phobia” prevalent among the Malay community, subsequently asking Tunku Ismail about his perspective on the DAP.
Describes Hannah Yeoh & Liew Chin Tong as ‘superb’
Using Hannah Yeoh as an exemplar, TMJ described her as “superb” and someone who is deeply committed to her work. He shared similar sentiments about Liew Chin Tong.
For example, Hannah Yeoh, I think she’s superb,but she is just someone who focuses on her job.
When she has work to do, she focuses on doing her job. It’s the same for Liew Chin Tong.
However, he candidly admitted that he is not acquainted with other leaders from the DAP.
“In terms of political parties, I can’t comment on whether they are good or not, as I only know a very few individuals within these parties. This applies to both PKR and UMNO as well,” he stated.
Serving the people should be the main priority
TMJ emphasized that the priority of any political party should be serving the people and pondered on the innovations they could introduce for the betterment of the public.
“To be honest, I don’t care which political party you come from. As long as you serve the people and get the job done, you deserve to be there,” he concluded.
