A fire broke out at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting, yesterday (14 June) evening. According to Resorts World Genting, the incident occurred at around 7.15 pm yesterday and was quickly brought under control.

No casualties reported so far
Emergency services, including Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat, ensured the safety of all visitors, who were evacuated without any injuries reported.
Following the incident, Resorts World Genting issued a public announcement confirming the successful extinguishment of the fire and the subsequent reopening of SkyAvenue.
The management said in the statement that while most outlets within SkyAvenue will remain operational, a few near the affected area will be temporarily closed for safety reasons.
Business as usual
Despite the fire, the management also confirms that the “Best of Chen Lei Hits 2024” concert at the Arena of Stars will proceed as planned.
Additionally, the theme parks, Genting SkyWorlds and Skytropolis, along with other attractions, will continue to operate normally.
The Awana SkyWay will also be running as per its regular schedule.
However, access to Genting SkyWorlds is currently limited to the Studio Plaza entrance only.
Resorts World Genting assures visitors that it is business as usual, with all necessary safety measures in place to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all.
