In an enchanting display of romance and, Cheong Gah Vi found the perfect moment to propose to his girlfriend, Ms Wong, during the Ed Sheeran concert held at Bukit Jalil last Saturday (Feb 24).
Took 6 months to plan
The couple’s choice of venue for the proposal was deeply symbolic, rooted in their mutual love for Ed Sheeran’s music, particularly the song “Perfect,” which they envisioned as their ideal wedding song.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Cheong said the concert was not only their first musical outing together but also serendipitously aligned with Chinese Valentine’s Day on February 24, lending an air of destiny to their engagement.
He also shared that the meticulous planning of the proposal spanned over six months.
During the concert, Cheong successfully managed to bring a bridal veil and the engagement ring to the venue.
My only regret was not being able to incorporate flowers into the proposal, a minor setback in an otherwise flawlessly executed plan,” he said.
3rd year together
As their relationship blossoms into its third year and the anniversary just around the corner on March 1, the couple looks forward to making their bond official.
