Ed Sheeran Plays Badminton, Paints Batik & Visits Barber Shop During M’sia Tour

A tour with Malaysian style!
Last weekend, Malaysia was graced with the magical melodies of none other than the one and only Ed Sheeran, as he brought his electrifying “+-=÷× TOUR” to Kuala Lumpur.

But hold onto your seats, because Ed Sheeran didn’t just rock the stage – he went on an epic adventure through Malaysia, and let’s just say, h was having so much fun!

Taking a break from the spotlight, Ed decided to dive into Malaysian culture headfirst. First off, he tried his hand at batik painting.

In the video, he expressed his curiosity about traditional batik and wax painting, eagerly diving into the craft. He started working on batik while casually chatting with his fans.

Next, he headed straight to a local barber shop that’s been around since 1937. Just like any other Malaysian, Ed Sheeran opted for a classic Malaysian-style shave. The friendly barber gave him a clean shave that left Ed impressed, saying, “This is probably the cleanest shave I’ve ever had.”

After that, he casually popped into a nearby florist and picked out a lovely bouquet. Then, with a smile, he gave the bouquet to his guide as a gesture of appreciation.

The adventure was far from over

To top it all off, he faced off against our national badminton player, Chan Peng Soon, in a friendly match alongside Malaysian influencers Jinnyboy and Jobroseph.

With three against one, the game was both intense and fun. In a display of sportsmanship, both Chan Peng Soon and Ed Sheeran exchanged shirts at the end of the match, sealing the camaraderie.

Wrapping up his day of adventures, Ed joined his team in tossing Yee Sang, a symbol of prosperity and togetherness. It was evident that Ed Sheeran was truly enjoying himself during his time in Malaysia.

With his day already filled with excitement, imagine how awesome it would’ve been if Ed had tried dining at one of our famous Mamak restaurants. It would’ve been the PERFECT way to end his Malaysian adventure, don’t you agree?
