In an emotionally stirring event in Thailand, a man kept his vow to marry his beloved girlfriend who sadly passed away before their wedding.
Girlfriend succumbed to leukemia before wedding
The story unfolded in Srithep District, Phichit Province. The couple had their wedding planned for January 2024, but tragically, the bride-to-be succumbed to leukemia on December 9.
Despite the sudden loss of his partner, the groom remained resolute in fulfilling his promise.
On December 11, he posted on social media, inviting friends and family to attend the ceremony at his late fiancée’s house the following day.
He urged the guests to wear bright colors to the event as a celebration of her life.
A relative shared a video of the ceremony on TikTok on December 13, quickly attracting over 2.8 million views and 156k likes at press time.

The footage showed a poignant scene with the groom in a pink suit, standing next to a photo of his late fiancée and a mannequin.
