A young man's attempt to film an aesthetic video of him crossing the road was unintentionally ruined by a well-meaning stranger, who took it upon himself to lead him to the other side. ## M'sian man asks GF to film him crossing the road, stranger steps in to help In a [Tiktok video](https://www.tiktok.com/@alifferneto/video/7306372318681386258?_r=1&_t=8hkxNqQ53aB) posted by user @alifferneto yesterday (Nov 28), the man named Alif is seen trying to film an aesthetic video of him crossing the road with the help of his girlfriend. ![M](https://cdn.weirdkaya.com/media/whatsapp-image-2023-11-29-at-15932-pm-1.jpeg)Screenshot via [TikTok/@aliffernato](https://www.tiktok.com/@alifferneto/video/7306372318681386258?_r=1&_t=8hkxNqQ53aB) Alif is also seen deliberately 'hesitating' to cross the road by looking left and right longer than usual, prompting a stranger next to him to assume he was afraid to cross the road or had** **visual impairment. Completely unaware that it was all for a video, the stranger decided to lend a helping hand by clutching Alif's arm and guided him across the road, leaving Alif visibly stunned. ![Kind stranger helps M](https://cdn.weirdkaya.com/media/whatsapp-image-2023-11-29-at-15934-pm.jpeg)Screenshot via [TikTok/@aliffernato](https://www.tiktok.com/@alifferneto/video/7306372318681386258?_r=1&_t=8hkxNqQ53aB) In the caption, Alif jokingly complained that the stranger had ruined his plan in filming the aesthetic video and mistook him for a blind person. > **I was asking my girlfriend to take a video of me crossing the road. Out of nowhere, this man comes and clutches my hand to help me cross (the road). Did he think I was blind?** ![Stranger leaves after helping M](https://cdn.weirdkaya.com/media/whatsapp-image-2023-11-29-at-15935-pm.jpeg)Screenshot via [TikTok/@aliffernato](https://www.tiktok.com/@alifferneto/video/7306372318681386258?_r=1&_t=8hkxNqQ53aB) ## Netizens left in stitches This hilarious interaction has since left netizens in a laughing fit, with some speculating about the thought process behind the stranger's actions.  ***'If it were me, I would ask, 'What are we?'*** ![M](https://cdn.weirdkaya.com/media/whatsapp-image-2023-11-29-at-15725-pm.jpeg)Screenshot via [TikTok/@aliffernato](https://www.tiktok.com/@alifferneto/video/7306372318681386258?_r=1&_t=8hkxNqQ53aB) ***'Actually, he was scared to cross the road alone so that's why he grabbed your arm hahaha.'*** ![M](https://cdn.weirdkaya.com/media/whatsapp-image-2023-11-29-at-15726-pm.jpeg)Screenshot via [TikTok/@aliffernato](https://www.tiktok.com/@alifferneto/video/7306372318681386258?_r=1&_t=8hkxNqQ53aB) ***'Malaysians are really empathetic.
