An immense fire broke out earlier today at Mid Valley Megamall, one of the busiest shopping destinations in Kuala Lumpur, causing widespread panic and disruption.
It is understood that the fire started at the mall around 10 AM. The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department has confirmed that they received a report and dispatched a team of firefighters to the scene for rescue operations.
Preliminary reports from the Fire and Rescue Department indicate that the fire originated from the electrical room within the mall.
Firefighters from the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department were promptly dispatched to the scene.
At press time, no severe injuries or fatalities have been reported.
