The Mid Valley Megamall has released an official statement confirming the fire that took place at 10 am today.

According to a statement, Mid Valley City’s management has confirmed that a fire erupted at the external TNB Substation, Mid Valley City, but was successfully contained by the Emergency Response Team.
The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department promptly arrived at the scene at 10.42 am and worked to extinguish the fire.
Mid Valley Megamall confirms no injuries
Fortunately, as of 11.38 am, no injuries or casualties have been reported. The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department is currently conducting thorough investigations and ensuring the security of the premises, causing no further disruptions to the mall’s operations.
As a precautionary measure prioritizing the safety of all individuals present, temporary power supply disruption will be implemented until authorized by the authorities for restoration.
