KUALA LUMPUR – A senior citizen who went to a friend’s house for a game of mahjong was shot dead outside a bungalow in Mont Kiara.
According to China Press, the man was shot three times before he collapsed beside his car.
Occurred outside mansion in Amarin Kiara
The tragedy took place outside the bungalow located at Amarin Kiara, Mont Kiara at about 12.09 am today.
According to Brickfields district police chief ACP Amihizam Abdul Shukor, eyewitnesses saw the victim walking to the parking lot when they heard three gunshots being fired.
He also dismissed rumours that the victim held a Datukship after preliminary investigations proved otherwise.
The victim’s body was later sent to the hospital for an autopsy and the case is now being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
Police are also hunting down the suspect and uncovering the motive behind the shooting.
