The Touch ‘n Go E-wallet system experienced a technical glitch earlier today, causing inconvenience to users.
However, after several hours of maintenance, the issue has been successfully resolved.

Touch ‘n Go eWallet resumes services
The Touch ‘n Go e-wallet announced on social media that all services have been restored to normal at 3:36pm today.
“Everything is okay now! We apologize again and assure you that we will do our best to prevent such incidents from happening in the future, so you can continue enjoying the convenience of our e-wallet.”
“Touch ‘n Go Wallet and its services are up and running. We apologise for the inconvenience caused earlier and thank you for your kind patience.”
Small number of users still reported difficulties accessing Touch ‘n Go eWallet app
A WeirdKaya writer has also tried to use the Touch ‘n Go eWallet service and managed to perform a transaction after the announcement.

Some users on social media have confirmed that they can now log in to their e-wallet accounts again.
However, as of 3 PM, a small number of users still reported difficulties accessing the Touch ‘n Go e-wallet. They were unable to use the facial recognition feature and expressed concerns about the safety of their balance in the e-wallet.
Many affected users are also requesting a reasonable explanation from Touch ‘n Go e-wallet regarding these incidents.

However, in an earlier Facebook post notifying users of the system glitch, some users also complained that they received payment notifications despite not using the e-wallet.
