In a shocking incident, an unknown individual wrapped newborn kittens in a plastic bag and threw them into a river in Penang. The heart-wrenching episode came to light after a 44-second video clip was shared on the social news site Penang Kini last night.

In the video, the man believed to be a fisherman or angler, sitting on a small boat and discovering a floating plastic bag in the river. He immediately retrieved the bag and brought it to the shore.
Upon opening the bag, a tiny, soaking-wet black kitten emerged, gasping for air.
The footage also reveals water continuously flowing out of the waterlogged plastic bag.
If the kitten had not been rescued in time, it is believed that it would have suffocated or drowned due to a lack of oxygen and being submerged in the water.

‘Dont be cruel like this’
After the video was uploaded, netizens flooded the comment section, expressing their outrage at the cruel treatment of such vulnerable lives. They called for the person responsible for this heinous act to be held accountable.
In the meantime, the identity of the heartless individual who committed this appalling act remains unknown, as authorities and netizens alike search for answers and justice for the innocent kittens.
