Tigers are known to be ferocious creatures thanks to their powerful jaws and teeth that’s capable of ripping anything to shreds.
A group of visitors at the Johor Zoo watched on with bated breath as they witnessed a kitten being rescued from two tigers after it fell into the tiger enclosure.

In a two-minute long TikTok clip shared by @anonymous_not, it showed two tigers looking at and taking several curious sniffs at a white kitten that was stuck at a drain inside their enclosure.
Inevitably, this caused many to worry that the tigers would pounce on the helpless kitten and make it their next meal.
Thankfully, a quick-thinking zoo employee came up with a way to lure the tigers away from the kitten by spraying water at them.
While one of the tigers immediately backed off when the water hit its face, the other tiger only retreated slightly and seemingly took its time to enjoy the impromptu shower.
Taking advantage of the tigers being distracted by the water, the worker quickly stretched his hand towards the drain and grabbed the kitten to safety, eliciting cheers from the crowd.
Netizens breath a sigh of relief
The clip has since garnered 1.6 million views at the time of writing and netizens were glad to see that the kitten wasn’t devoured by the tigers.
‘Luckily the kitten didn’t run towards the tigers’ direction because normally it would run once it comes in contact with water,’ one wrote.
Another wondered how the kitten found itself up and close with the tigers in the first place, with a netizen speculating that it could have fallen into the enclosure by mistake.
Meanwhile, some were curious whether the tigers would actually eat the kitten despite coming from the same feline family. However, some pointed out that there was no telling as tigers are naturally ferocious.
