"The nurse then contacted and handed over all the items to the police. As a result of further investigation, we arrested a man who is also hospital staff."

"The suspect admitted that he had bought the mini camera at an online e-commerce platform a month ago.

"We also confiscated a mobile charger, a mobile phone, two SIM cards, a memory card and cable," he said when contacted by [Harian Metro](https://www.hmetro.com.my/mutakhir/2021/09/756290/pembantu-perawatan-pasang-kamera-pengintip-di-bilik-mandi-hospital?_ga=2.84843353.1518138702.1632031923-1899988994.1632031923).

Sazlee added that police are also looking into the suspect's claim of installing the camera at 5 pm on the same day.

The case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code for outraging one's modesty and Section 14 of the Minor Offenses Act 1955 for insulting behaviour.
