A peaceful morning at Penang City Park turned alarming when a senior citizen was attacked by monkeys, resulting in a fall that caused a severe head injury requiring nine stitches.
According to The Star, the incident occurred early Saturday morning during an aerobics session at the park. The victim, a woman in her 60s, reportedly had food and drinks in her bag, which is believed to have attracted the monkeys.
The City Park, known for its lush greenery and wildlife, is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
