An extraordinary feat has been achieved by Malaysian student, Raz Irina Mohd Razlan, who managed to obtain a perfect score in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in the May 2023 examination.

According to the Ministry of Education (MOE), Raz Irina, part of Cohort 6 at Kolej Tunku Kurshiah, scored the maximum grade seven in all six subject groups.
She also earned full marks in the three CORE subjects, including the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge (TOK).
This achievement places Raz Irina among less than 1% of candidates worldwide who have achieved a perfect score, a testament to her commitment, positive attitude, mature thinking, and ability to be self-reliant.
In recognition of her outstanding academic performance, Raz Irina has accepted an offer to further her studies in Chemical Engineering (MEng) at Imperial College London, a prestigious university in the United Kingdom.
“As a student who is always committed, positive, demonstrates maturity in thinking, and is capable of being independent, Raz Irina shows consistency and excellence in her studies,” wrote the ministry in a statement on Instagram.
