In the video, captioned “Duit raya time,” young Amsyar is seen with a pile of duit raya, handing them out one by one to his classmates who are lined up in an organized manner, each patiently waiting for their turn to accept the cherished green envelope.

As part of the touching gesture, Amsyar and his classmates also participated in the traditional exchange of salam (greetings).

Following Malay customs, the younger person bows their head and places the elder recipient’s hand on their forehead as a sign of respect during the greeting.
