A kind Malaysian man has won praise online after he stopped to help two foreign men who were stranded on a bridge after their motorcycle broke down.
In a Facebook video shared by the man, he said he was on his way when he noticed a motorcycle stranded on the bridge.
At first, I thought they were locals, but it turned out they were foreigners from the Philippines and China who were helpless because their motorcycle had broken down,” he wrote.
Helped them get to a nearby workshop
Instead of simply riding past, the man decided to lend them a hand.
In the video, one of the men could be seen sitting behind him, while the other rode the faulty motorcycle.
The Malaysian man then carefully used his foot to push the motorcycle forward while riding, helping them make their way to a nearby workshop.
I didn’t help much, I just helped push it to a nearby workshop,” he added.
Refused to accept payment
After they arrived at the motorcycle repair shop, the man briefly explained the situation to the shop staff.
The two men later offered to pay him for his help, but he refused to accept anything from them.
They even wanted to pay me, but I told them there was no need.
Sometimes, what may be a small act of help to us can mean a lot to others. It doesn’t matter who they are or where they come from.
May all our affairs be made easier,” he wrote.
Netizens touched by his kindness
The video later gained attention online, with many netizens praising the man for showing kindness to strangers in need.
Some said his actions reflected the warm-hearted side of Malaysians, especially when helping others regardless of race, nationality, or background.
While it may have seemed like a small act to him, it clearly meant a lot to the two men who were stuck in an unfamiliar situation.
