Hundreds of eager Apple fans gathered at the Apple Store in Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) early this morning to purchase the newly launched iPhone 16 series.
Many were seen queuing as early as 5am, with the first in line was a group of 10 from Vietnam, who began queuing as early as 3 AM.
A check by WeirdKaya revealed that queues had already formed in the early hours. Despite the large turnout, crowd control was well-organized, ensuring a smooth and orderly experience for everyone present.
This marks the first time Malaysia is included in the initial batch of countries where the latest iPhone series is available for purchase.
WeirdKaya understands that there are two separate queues: one for online pick-up orders and another for walk-in customers.
While walk-in purchases are allowed, the stocks are subject to availability.
The crowd eagerly awaited the store’s opening at 8am, following an earlier adjustment from its usual 10am opening hours.
Apple enthusiasts expressed excitement over the new features of the iPhone 16 series, particularly praising its enhanced camera and improved battery performance.
