Woman From Chongqing Flight Allegedly Admits Fault In Letter, Claims Crowd Applauded For Her

She says issue could have been resolved differently.
A handwritten “guarantee letter” allegedly written by the woman involved in a recent flight incident has gone viral online, sparking widespread discussion.

The incident is believed to have taken place on a flight from Chongqing to Kuala Lumpur, where the woman reportedly became emotional after being unable to communicate with cabin crew in Mandarin.

According to viral video online, the situation escalated to the point where aviation police had to intervene.

Dispute reportedly began after passenger asked her to lower her voice

Based on the contents of the circulating letter, the woman claimed she was trying to contact a friend who had yet to board the flight.

During the call, a passenger seated next to her allegedly became unhappy with her speaking volume and asked her to lower it, which led to a verbal dispute.

The letter further stated that the woman then began recording the situation on her phone, causing tensions to escalate further between both parties.

At around 1.58am, a flight attendant reportedly stepped in to mediate the situation.

However, the woman claimed that the issue was not resolved, alleging that the crew communicated only in English, which she said contributed to her emotional outburst.

She also criticised the cabin crew in the letter, stating that as staff on an international flight, they should be able to communicate in Chinese.

Woman says issue could have been resolved differently

In the letter, the woman suggested that the situation could have been handled more calmly through measures such as emotional reassurance, seat rearrangement, or deleting the video.

However, she claimed these steps were not taken, which caused the situation to spiral further.

The incident reportedly resulted in a flight delay of about 20 minutes, and the woman was eventually escorted off the plane by authorities.

Admits wrongdoing, promises to control temper

Towards the end of the letter, the woman acknowledged that her behaviour was inappropriate.

She admitted that she should not have argued with others or spoken loudly, and said she would work on controlling her temper in the future and comply with cabin crew instructions.

Interestingly, she also claimed that she received applause from passengers during the incident.

At the time of writing, it remains unclear whether the handwritten letter was genuinely written by the woman involved.

However, screenshots of the document have been widely circulated on social media, continuing to fuel discussions among netizens.
