It seems that people are willing to wait for good food. We see that with Akka Nasi Lemak.
Recently, Tiktoker and entrepreneur, Kieda, renowned for her crepes in Penang, has a fanbase reaching far beyond her local area. She took her business on a “tour” to Shah Alam, giving her devoted followers a chance to experience the menu she serves back in Penang.
Unbeknownst to her, an overwhelming crowd flooded the Stadium Shah Alam venue, a turnout the organizer likened to that of a semi-finals audience.
The stadium’s management guessed that around 5000 people showed up to buy her desserts.
Sadly, things got chaotic before the day was over. Some customers grew so impatient from the long wait that fights broke out, as she shared on her Facebook post.
She also mentioned that the huge crowd was totally unexpected, and it was too much for her team to manage.
Despite the heavy criticism, Kieda expressed her gratitude for the experience and shared that some visitors were actually nice enough to give her business advice.
In her Facebook post, Kieda apologize to the people of Shah Alam for not meeting all the customers’ needs and thanked them for their ongoing support.
Most netizens shows their support such as this one by saying that it is an experience going to that place.
One netizen jokes that she may need to arrange for ticketing system and limit the number of patrons in future “tours”
One netizen even suggested that she bring in 3 lorries to meet the demands in the future.
Would you guys ever queue up for some popular delights?
