27-year-old Malaysian tower runner Soh Wai Ching has once again made the nation proud by breaking the course record by running up 105 floors at Willis Tower, Chicago in 12:57 minutes. Congrats!
In a Facebook post, Soh shared that he had broken the previous Course Record by a second.
He also added that it wasn’t easy for him to break the Course Record after participating in two events at Michigan yesterday (Nov 7).
Former Tallest Building in the World from 1974 – 1998 and super happy to have my name there as the Fastest Towerrunner running up the stairs!
Guinness world record holder
Soh is currently the No. 1 tower runner in Asia and second globally.
He was recently crowned the winner at the Empire State Building Run-Up (ESBRU) in New York in October and broke the Guinness world record by accomplishing the ‘greatest vertical height stair climbing’ within one hour last November.
