While being disabled is definitely troublesome and poses lots of inconveniences, but being made fun of because of it is all the more distasteful and disrespectful.
A local TikToker recently earned the wrath of netizens after he posted a video of him using an OKU toilet and pretending to walk crookedly as though he was disabled.
Rushed to use OKU toilet
The 17-second clip was posted by a content creator named Saifullah Tajuddin two days ago, where it came with the caption: ‘POV: When you’re forced to use the OKU toilet’.
At the start of the clip, he is seen clutching his groin area as he was unable to hold in the “floodgates” and quickly rushed into an OKU toilet before closing the door behind him.
The next frame then showed him opening the door slightly, where he caught sight of several people waiting for him to be done.
In an attempt not to blow his cover, Saifuddin then walked out in a crooked manner with both knees bent in and his hands were slightly distorted as well.
He also kept winking repeatedly to sell the idea that he was suffering from some form of degenerative disease.
Towards the end of the clip, Saifuddin continued to walk in a crooked manner. But after he saw that no one else was around, he quickly snapped back into his normal self and walked off as though nothing happened.
M’sian slammed for mocking OKU community
Unsurprisingly, Saifuddin’s antics didn’t win him any favours online, where he was bashed by netizens for the distasteful clip.
‘A joke made by kids from the last class.’
‘How dare you. If God wanted (you to be disabled), it would happen in the blink of an eye.’
However, it seemed that Saifuddin had no intention of backing down and defended himself by saying the clip was based on a true story.
