No one likes it when their orders get mixed up or made wrongly, but it’s never an excuse to treat those who made the mistake poorly either.
A man recently came under fire after a clip showed him verbally abusing several restaurant staff over a wrong food order and demanding that they pay for his petrol and toll fees as well.
M’sian man berates staff for making him drive 7km to fix wrong food order
In the 1-minute long clip shared on X by Abudi Alsagoff, it showed the man storming his way towards a restaurant which had gotten his Grab Food order wrong.
After locating the restaurant, the man then confronted the staff and angrily told them to call their manager but was informed that the manager had gone out.
Annoyed by the answer, the man went on to rant about how he had to drive 7km all the way to the restaurant just to change the wrong food order and aggressively asked the staff, “What did I order?”
Apparently, it turned out that he had ordered Nasi Kunyit with Curry Chicken but got Hainan Chicken Rice instead.
As the staff scrambled to rectify the order, the man continued to berate them, even demanding that they “pay (for) his petrol and Touch ‘n Go”.
However, nothing proved pettier than the moment the man felt he had to reveal to the staff what car he drove to the restaurant.
I drove my Mercedes to here (sic), I put my Touch ‘n Go and petrol to change my food eh? No, I want to see your manager!
At the end of the clip, it was revealed that the man didn’t get to see the manager but was given RM20 in compensation for the wrong food order.
‘So petty!’
Needless to say, the man’s antics didn’t do him any favours, where he was blasted by netizens for his arrogant and snobbish attitude.

‘Lol, just report to Grab and get a full refund. No need to drive your Mercedes.’
‘Drive Mercedes but still want to be calculative with TnG (fees).’
