He explains in the video that the staff bikes to work every day, and in an effort to make her commute more comfortable, he decided to help her to get a car.

Gave RM6000 to staff as reward

Ezzu shared that he only helped Yaya with the down payment of the car, around RM6000. Yaya will handle the subsequent car payments. Ezzu clarified that since Yaya had just turned 21, buying a car could be quite challenging, prompting him to assist with the car purchase and down payment.

Speaking to WeirdKaya, heexpressed the inspiration behind his thoughtful gift. “Having studied in Australia for a Diploma in Hospitality, I’ve learned the importance of appreciating the hardworking employees who contribute significantly to the success of our business,” he said.

“Rewards inspires employee to strive”

“Rewarding top performers inspires others to work hard. This is also a personal belief of mine, as worldly possessions are temporary. If I were to become wealthy, I’d see it as a bonus and a blessing from God.”

When Yaya found out about the new car, she was thrilled. “Yaya was overjoyed with the gift. She’s excited about using it for longer trips,” Ezzu added.

peaking to WeirdKaya, Ezzu says he intends to continue doing the same for his diligent and faithful employees in the future.

The generous boss also shared that Yaya has been instrumental to the success his business. When faced with issues from previous male staff members, it was Yaya who stepped in and helped keep things running.

In addition to handling cash, Yaya took over kitchen duties, even contributing significantly to the production of Ezzu’s Singaporean Chili Crab sauce.

With Yaya’s assistance, production increased from 40 packets to 120 per week, leading to increased sales.
