Ahmad also noted that about 1.8 million additional applications are still undergoing the approval process.

This process typically takes between one to five days from the date of application.
He added that those whose applications are initially unsuccessful have the option to appeal.
This insight came during his recent visit to a supermarket where he observed the public’s expenditure using eMADANI.
Moreover, Ahmad clarified that applications made through all other e-wallet service providers would be rejected if they fail at the first attempt.
However, there is an avenue for appeals through various platforms, including sending an email to [email protected] or contacting the helplines at 03-88824565 and 1800882747.
The eMADANIscheme is available through four e-wallet service applications: Shopee, MAE Maybank, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, and Setel Petronas.
