Potential Reasons for eMADANI Rejection
We have compiled five potential reasons that may have caused the rejection.
- Multiple E-wallet Applications
Applying through more than one e-wallet like Touch ‘n Go eWallet, ShopeePay, Setel, or MAE App can lead to rejection as each individual is entitled to apply only on one platform. - Mismatched Personal Details:
Ensure your name and identity card number match the JPN database. Discrepancies can cause application denial. - Outdated Tax Information:
Applicants must have an annual income of RM100,000 or less, as recorded by LHDN (as of July 15, 2023). Failure to update income details with the Inland Revenue Board may result in application rejection. - Citizenship Criteria:
Only Malaysian citizens or permanent residents are eligible. Account verification on the chosen platform is mandatory before applying. - Previous eBelia Rahmah Beneficiaries:
Students who previously received the RM150 eBelia Rahmah aid are ineligible for the eMADANI credit.
