Just when Malaysians were still recovering from the news of Cantik’s retirement, it looks like LRT Wangsa Maju may already have a new station “boss”.
A chonky cat was recently spotted chilling at LRT Wangsa Maju, and netizens are now joking that he might be the new face of the station.
New ‘boss’ spotted
In a Threads post, the cat was seen lying comfortably beside a wall at the station, looking extremely relaxed and unbothered by the world.
“First time meeting the new Boss at LRT Wangsa Maju station,” the user wrote.
In the photos, the cat can be seen stretched out on the floor, giving off the energy of someone who has just clocked in for work but is already on break.

And of course, Malaysians immediately noticed one thing: the cat’s size.
‘Boss looks handsome and well-fed’
The post quickly caught attention online, with many amused by the cat’s size and serious-looking face.
‘I saw him at LRT Wangsa Maju today too! But sadly, I couldn’t see Cantik.’

One netizen commented that Boss looked “handsome and full of vision”, while another called him “kacak chonky”.
Another user joked that people should not disturb him as “the boss needs to rest”.
Following Cantik’s recent retirement, several netizens could not help but wonder whether the new cat had somehow taken over her position at the station.
One user even joked that Cantik might have asked the cat to look after her area.
