As detailed in Sin Chew Daily, the man, an ardent lottery participant, typically bet on his lucky numbers. However, on the day that would change his life, his usual number was unavailable.
Following his wife’s suggestion, he decided to try his luck with a new lottery ticket known as Big Sweep.
Big Sweep, the only sweepstake lottery of its kind in Malaysia, is operated and promoted by Pan Malaysian Sweeps Sdn. Bhd.
Through appointed agents, the lottery offers a game of chance by selling a series of pre-printed tickets to the public.

“This is why you should listen to your wife”
The Klang resident bought a Big Sweep ticket and, to his amazement, secured the enormous payout.
“I couldn’t believe I won. This is why you should listen to your wife!” he said when collecting his prize.
When asked about his intentions for the winnings, the man shared that he would allocate a portion for his children’s future, with his wife managing the rest.
He expressed confidence in her ability to invest the money wisely for the benefit of their family’s long-term security.
