In the caption, Stray Free Foundation wished the husky a “wonderful life ahead with his new dad, filled with love, happiness, and plenty of adventures” with its new owner.
The news was later confirmed by Ung’s daughter Alicia, who took to her Instagram story to share her excitement and disbelief when she found out that her father had adopted Kitster.

Even with his crazy busy schedule, he still made my wish come true and saved this husky. I love you, Daddy.
‘This is the best gift ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you!” she wrote.
Summary of events
Back in July, a viral clip showed Kitster being beaten mercilessly by his previous owner, who later was revealed to be national shuttler Samuel Lee.

Lee was eventually fined RM25,000 in default of six months in jail after he pleaded guilty to animal abuse.
As for Kitster, he was handed over to the Selangor Veterinary Services Department (SVSD) and had its adoption deadline extended to Oct 8 in hopes of finding a new owner who would care for him.
We’re glad that Kitster has finally found a home and we hope his new owner will love and care for him deeply!
