Veteran Hong Kong actor and comedian Richard Ng has passed away at the age of 83, as confirmed by his family.
According to a report by Hong Kong news agency HongKong01, Ng’s family received a notification from the hospital that he may pass away on the same day and were asked to come to the hospital to bid their final farewells.
Ng was connected to multiple tubes and his family prayed for him as he was informed that his heart had stopped. The doctors attempted to revive him with medical equipment, but unfortunately, Ng was pronounced dead.

Born in Guangdong, China in 1939, Richard Ng began his career in the entertainment industry in the 1970s. He quickly became known for his comedic talent and starred in several popular films, including “My Lucky Stars” and “Winners and Sinners”.
