A group of youngsters were recently exposed by the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) for skatboarding at the city centre and vandalising a “no entry” signboard.
The teens’ late-night shenanigans were caught in full view by the close-circuit camera (CCTV) and are now on DBKL and the police’s radar.
According to DBKL, the vandalism took place near the River of Life (ROL), Kuala Lumpur at around 11:15pm yesterday (Apr 23).

It is understood that the teenagers destroyed the signboard and turned it into a prop for them to show off their skateboarding moves.
DBKL also revealed that its law enforcement team arrived 30 minutes later to take further action but the teenagers had fled the scene.
Police on the hunt
The police are currently working with DBKL to track down the teenagers who had vandalised public property.
In a statement, the city council also reminded the public that vandals can be fined up to RM2,000.
