Body Of Unknown Person Found Inside Wheel Well At KLIA2

The identity of the victim currently remains unknown.
Engineering personnel at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) had the shock of their lives upon discovering a body being hidden inside the wheel well of an airplane.

According to The Star, the grisly discovery was made today at around 6.55am after the airplane landed at 6.30am following a flight from Tokyo, Japan.

The English daily also reported personnel tasked with opening the airplane’s wheel well had noticed a foul stench coming from the wheel well prior to the discovery.

At the time of writing, the identity and gender of the victim, who was clad in a pair of jeans and white shirt, remains unknown.

A report was also lodged to the KLIA2 police station operations room and a forensic team was deployed to the scene to conduct further investigations.

Based on initial investigations, the victim is believed to be in their 20s and may have died more than 72 hours ago.

No identification documents were found on the victim and the authorities are working to determine their identity and cause of death.
