A 22-year-old Singaporean man tragically lost his life in Johor Bahru on the morning of June 26, 2023.
He was returning to Singapore when the incident happened.

The news of his death was disseminated by Sin Mah Bike Towing, a Malaysian motorcycle towing company.
In an attempt to reach out to the deceased’s family, the company made a post about the incident on Facebook.
Mothership reported that the company spokesperson revealed that they were alerted to the event by the Malaysian police, who needed the victim’s motorcycle to be removed from the accident scene.
He also revealed that the young man was en route back to his homeland, Singapore.
“While riding his motorcycle on a flyover on the Eastern Dispersal Link expressway, he lost control and was catapulted off the flyover,” he reportedly said.
The young man fell to the roadside near the entrance to Pasir Pelangi Palace, as shown in the photograph provided by Sin Mah Bike Towing.
Another picture depicted the unfortunate sight of the man lying in a pool of blood.

Dies on the spot
The spokesperson also confirmed that he died instantly at the scene.
The young man had only earned his motorcycle license three months prior to the incident, according to the spokesperson’s information. At the time of the accident, he was accompanied by three friends.
These friends were present when Malaysian authorities arrived at the scene.
The deceased’s identity has been revealed through tributes by people who knew him, including his elder brother.
A comment on Sin Mah Bike Towing’s Facebook post indicated that the man’s family has been informed about the tragic incident.
“Hi admin, the family is already with him. Thank you for raising awareness, everyone please be safe on the road,” the commenter wrote.
According to China Press, the police are investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the 1987 Road Traffic Act (dangerous driving causing death).
