A couple made a scene by slamming her helmet and overturning a curry container at a Mamak as their children were hungry due to a delay in the food delivery.
The incident was believed to happen on the third day of Raya at a Mamak in Petaling Jaya.
The 2-minute video by the Twitter account Malaysia’s Most Viral went viral and stirred controversy.
The outrage
According to the clip, a woman wearing a helmet can be seen shouting in the restaurant.
“What kind of business is this? We paid for our food, but it hasn’t arrived yet, you idiot!”
The woman’s husband also spoke up, “We’ve been waiting since 8.30am, and now I have to come here to get our food!”
The woman was so angry that she pushed over a table in front of her, and the man continued to shout, “Do you know how hungry we are?”
The woman then switched from speaking Malay to Tamil and continued swearing.

“My children are starving! We have already paid, so you must send someone to deliver our food,” she retorted.
The couple then asked the cashier for a refund, but the owner rejected them.
The woman took off her helmet and threw it in the direction of the owner, then spilt a container of curry on the ground.

The man tried to stop her, but it was too late. The whole plate of curry sauce had spilt onto the floor.

The owner shouted at the woman, and she replied, “Don’t you know who I am?!” She then took out her phone and threatened to call the police and find a lawyer.
Wrong person to seek
