Woman Brings Dog Into USJ Machines Store, Argues With Staff When Told It’s Not Allowed

She was eventually escorted out by security.
In Malaysia, there are certain places where pet owners aren’t allowed to bring their pets along due to religious sensitivities and to maintain public cleanliness. However, some still continue to flout the rules.

A woman recently went viral after she was caught on tape arguing with a staff who told her that she wasn’t allowed to bring her pet dog into an electronics store.

She was also seen carrying a small white dog with her right arm while arguing with the staff.

In the clip, the staff tried his best to calmly explain to the woman about the store’s no-pet policy and asked her to leave. However, she refused and insisted on purchasing the items she needed.

In response, the staff told her that she is allowed to purchase items if she did not enter with her pet dog. The clip then ends with the OP reiterating that pets weren’t allowed in the store.

OP sheds more light on incident

Speaking to WeirdKaya, Zarina explained that the commotion happened when she was heading to the counter to pay.

She added that the woman wanted to purchase a phone cable and was told that no pets were allowed inside the premise.

She continued to argue and the staff informed her that while she could purchase the cable, her dog was not allowed inside due to the presence of Muslim staff members and its store policy prohibiting pets.

“Right after I informed the woman that pets weren’t allowed, she realised she was being filmed and confronted me, leading to further chaos. At the end, security had to intervene to prevent the situation from escalating further,” she said.

Netizens praised staff’s calmness

The clip has since been viewed over 1 million times at the time of writing, with netizens praising the staff for his professionalism and calmness.

‘This Abang Machines deserves a standing ovation. Very well handled. Body composure. Empathy. Way to go Abang Machines!’

Date 13/4/2024 Time 1810pm Place : Machines Main Place Kejadian berlaku apabila kami hendak membayar dikaunter. Datang seorang wanita dlm lingkungan 30an membawa anjing didalam permis untuk membeli kabel. Staff machine dengan baik mmeberitahu NO PETS ALLOWED didalam kedai. Wanita tersebut tidak puas hati since when katanya. Staff memberitahu dia boleh membeli tapi harus membawa keluar anjing tersebut sebab semua staff muslim dan mmg undang2 tidak boleh membawa Pets. Ketika didalam kedai terdapat family berbangsa India yang Ingin membeli phone, lalu dia pun mengatakan please understand apa yg staff machine katakan. My husband pun ckp make it easy bawak je anjing keluar lepas tu masuk dan beli. Ternampak kelibat i ambil video terus dia menuju ke arah i dan marah kenapa ambil video dia. Saya kata if u nak i delete better keluar dr kedai. Akhirnya kami terpaksa memanggil pihak security.
