Village Grocer is Now Expanding In the Northern Region With Three New Stores In Penang!

The Food Purveyor (TFP), the premium grocery operator of Village Grocer, has opened three new stores in Penang, with their latest store being at 1^st Avenue on 12^th July following the soft launch of Village Grocer City Junction in June and Village Grocer Queens Waterfront in April.

The Food Purveyor CEO Geoff King said that the three new stores were part of a long-awaited celebration.

“We are combining the celebration of our 18^th anniversary in the retail industry with the official opening of two stores (Village Grocer Queens Waterfront and Village Grocer 1^st Avenue), AND celebrating the first anniversary at Village Grocer City Junction mall – all within a week!

“Loads of exciting rewards, deals and promotions have been lined up during the campaign period from 11^th July – 7^th August to celebrate this birthday bash,” he said.

King added that Penang was chosen as the location for the stores thanks to its great food and reputation of being a melting pot of different cultures.

With these stores, Village Grocer will now serve customers in the northern, central and eastern parts of Penang Island.

Village Grocer’s produce section consists of fruits & vegetables locally sourced from Cameron Highlands as well as freshly flown produce from Australia, the US, Japan, Korea, and New Zealand.

As for the meat and seafood section, customers can enjoy quality cuts from Australia and New Zealand along with a wide variety of fish and salmon from local boats and Norway.

For those who are health-conscious, Village Grocer offers a wide range superfoods, trendy protein supplements, and gluten-free products. If you’re a vegan, you can look forward to an amazing assortment of vegetarian and plant-based products in ambient, chilled, and frozen ranges.

A huge assortment snacks and ice cream imported directly from New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Belgium, Japan and Korea can also be found at Village Grocer.
