[VIDEO] Honda tailgates woman and hits barricade while avoiding paying the toll fee

If you were offered the chance to avoid paying RM1.30 in toll fee but risk damaging your car, would you say yes?

This Honda HR-V driver sure believed it was worth it.

In a dashcam footage uploaded by @shahidatul4297 on Twitter, the driver was caught speeding up from behind and tailgating her while nearing a toll booth.

Although the car had a slight collision with the barricade as it was about to close, it did little to faze the driver, who sped past without hesitation.

The incident is believed to have occurred at the Semenyih Toll Plaza yesterday (Sept 26).

Cheapskate much?

Shortly after the video was uploaded, netizens denounced the driver’s reckless behaviour which could have resulted in a collision with the car in front.

Many were perplexed as to why the driver could afford a luxury car but not the toll fee.

Some said that such actions is also common among those earning a minimum wage.

Another netizen joked that the driver must have left his/her Touch ‘n Go card at home.

Others also urged the OP to lodge a police report over the incident.

The post has since garnered over 6,000 retweets at press time.
