PETALING JAYA – Just yesterday (Feb 7), it was reported that Uncle Kentang had tested positive for COVID-19 and had to be hospitalised.

Signs of improvement
Today, Uncle Kentang took to Facebook to announce that his condition had improved slightly and was allowed to leave the Serdang Hospital at around 9am.
In the post, he thanked the hospital staff and netizens profusely for their care and prayers.
Many thanks for everyone’s prayers and well wishes. The Serdang Hospital staff were top notch and very friendly too!
However, he added that he will undergo 10 days of home quarantine and is still suffering from a slight cough and fever.
He also announced that his mobile phone and office will be unreachable temporarily following his COVID-19 diagnosis.
“Sorry. My phone will off 7 days. Office will be closed for 4 days starting today. Our hotline will be shut down except ambulance. Will increase Covid ambulance to 2 unit[s] as many contracted [sic] Covid.
“For Covid call 012-2423360. For ambulance call 011-55052148. Stay safe. No jolly party. Wear mask all [the] time. Please.”
