After 31 years of unknowingly living separate lives, twin brothers Jacky Chan and John have finally reunited, discovering their biological sibling.
This emotional reunion began when one of Jacky’s friends spotted someone who bore a striking resemblance to him in a pub.
A subsequent video call revealed the astonishing truth: they were twins.
“Once we saw [each other’s] faces, we cried like a bitch,” Jacky said.

“I finally found my twin brother”
In a conversation with Mothership, the story of the twins’ past was revealed.
Born together in a Malaysian hospital, Jacky and John were raised by different families – Jacky in Singapore and John in Kuala Lumpur.
While Jacky was aware that he had a twin brother, for John, the existence of his twin brother had always been a mystery.
“To him he found out that he had a brother. To me I finally found my brother…who I had been searching for for 11 years.” Jacky said.
Despite their separate upbringings, they shared common interests, such as a love for beer and durians, and both were nurtured in Chinese families.
Presently, Jacky is a head barber, whereas John has ventured into entrepreneurship and has his own family.
Their meeting occurred during the Dongzhi Festival, a period traditionally marked by family reunions. They are now eager to seek out their birth parents.
No hard feeling
Far from harboring any resentment, they feel grateful for the love and care they received from their adoptive families.
This newfound brotherhood has brought a unique and special dimension to their lives. Sharing stories and experiences, they relish their bond as brothers, a connection that has remained strong despite the years of separation.
