Thai woman allegedly pushed off from 23rd floor of Shah Alam condo
In a statement by Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim, he said police rushed to the scene after receiving a report of the incident at 10.02pm.
He added investigations found that the victim was a 32-year-old unemployed Thai national while the suspect was her 37-year-old boyfriend who worked as a lorry driver.
“According to witnesses, they claimed that they heard the victim and suspect having a verbal argument.
The victim was then seen allegedly being pushed off the 23rd floor by the suspect and falling into a swimming pool located at the 7th floor,” he said.
Suspect had lengthy criminal record
Mohd Iqbal said the suspect was later arrested on the same day at 10.10pm and tested positive for cannabis. Police also found that he had seven criminal records and one drug record.
