A family in Thailand reportedly only realised they had left their 6-year-old daughter behind at a petrol station after driving more than 130km away.
The incident happened on the evening of Apr 14 and was later reported by Thai outlet Khaosod.
According to a report by the Khao Din Police Station in Ratchaburi, the family had stopped at a petrol station for a toilet break while returning from a trip to Cha-am beach in Phetchaburi.
The 6-year-old had gone to the toilet, but by the time she came back, her family had already driven off.

Police later took the child into their care after learning she had been left behind. However, officers initially had difficulty contacting her family as the girl could not remember their phone numbers.
Authorities were eventually able to trace her parents after the girl provided her full name.
Police then checked Thailand’s civil registration system and identified her family before contacting them to arrange for her to be picked up.
The girl was said to have been shaken by the ordeal, but police kept her safe until her family arrived.
