A woman from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, got the shock of her life when she came home after a few days and found a massive ball of bees on her balcony.
She shared a video of the beehive on social media, where it quickly went viral with over 23,000 likes.
In the video, a large swarm of bees can be seen clumped together, forming a hive on her clothes-drying pole.
She explained that she was working at the time, and with a typhoon approaching, she planned to wait until after the typhoon passed to call someone to handle the situation.
However, after just one night, the beehive had grown significantly.

Her mother decided to help, wrapping the hive in a plastic bag and dumping it outside.
Though most of the bees were gone, a few still hung around the drying rack.
Netizens reacted with surprise, but some doubted the hive could grow that quickly. Others suggested calling the agriculture department when dealing with bees.
One user jokingly asks whether honey can be harvested from such a hive.
