The actor who played Oh Il-nam in Squid Game, a character initially perceived as a frail elderly man but revealed to be the primary antagonist of the series.

Oh is convicted of hugging and kissing a woman
Well, the famous actor has now been found guilty for sexually harassing a woman in 2017. He was recently sentenced 8 months of jail on Friday (15th March).
Furthermore, the 79-year-old will serve a two-year suspension and will have to complete 40 hours in a program focused on addressing sexual violence.
Truth prevails
As per The Korean Herald (KH), Oh was alleged to have hugged a woman on a walking trail and kissed her on the cheek in 2017.
The victim then pressed charges against Oh in December 2021, shortly after the actor’s appearance in the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’. Oh faced charges in November 2022 as a result.
The court’s verdict emphasized that the victim’s journal entries and counseling reports following the incident were aligned with the events that transpired. It stated that her testimonies were credible and could only have been provided if she had genuinely experienced the situation.
The court took into account Oh’s clean criminal record prior to the incident and ruled that his personal information or record should not be disclosed.
Additionally, the court did not impose any employment restrictions on Oh.
