Today is April 1st, a day when everyone is thinking hard to come up with funny pranks for their friends. And here’s a bakery that can help make your pranking easier.
Recently, a bakery in Singapore decided to spice things up by creating cakes that resemble vegetables, dubbing it the APRIL FOOL’S EDITION. From carrots to peas and even taugeh, they’ve got every veggie covered.
The best part? They’ve not only crafted cakes that look like taugeh but have also filled them with real taugeh.
Wouldn’t it be hilarious to trick your friends, especially those who aren’t fans of vegetables, particularly taugeh?
Taking to their Facebook account, Baker’s Brew Studio at Singapore shared their latest series of unique cakes.
They have five cakes in this series, including Pea, Carrot, Mushroom, Taugeh, and Asparagus Cake. These cakes are adorned with real pieces of vegetables, adding a touch of uniqueness to each.
As unique as their appearance, the prices are also on the pricier side, ranging from S$108 to S$148, approximately RM510 to RM699. In addition to offering two size options, they also provide a variety of cake flavors.
Anti-taugehs, assembled
As we all know, taugeh isn’t a top choice for many. Netizens have shared their thoughts on this unique cake in the comment section.
“These raw taugeh are worse than coriander cake.”
“Huge disrespect for people who separate taugeh from char kway teow.”
Some have even mentioned that, although they enjoy taugeh, they prefer not to have it as a dessert.
“I like to eat taugeh, but not as a dessert.”
“Gross! As much as I like bean sprouts, this is so wrong!!”
If you’re considering adding a dash of sweetness to your prank, you now know just where to go.
