Monkeys, with their playful and curious nature, often engage in mischievous behavior like stealing food, belongings, or even random objects. Watching them in action can be quite amusing due to their clever and unpredictable antics.
A recent TikTok video gained widespread attention when a Singaporean woman shared a heartwarming encounter with an unexpected guest while having a picnic by the beach.

In the clip, the woman named Letchimi found a monkey sitting on her mat and chewing on a piece of bread.
However, the cheeky primate then proceeded to open a Tupperware container filled with cocktail sausages while the camera was still rolling.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Letchimi shared that this incident unfolded at Sentosa’s Palawan Beach at around 2 pm on December 28 last year.
At first, two peacocks were seen walking by and I decided to feed two pieces of sausage to one of it. After the peacocks walked away, the monkey decided to approach us but we didn’t realise at first.
“It was only until when a Filipino lady alerted me did I become aware of the monkey’s presence.
“Initially, me and my friends were concerned about the monkey taking our belongings, but it became evident that its primary interest was getting something to eat,” she said.
Letchimi added she was happy to see the monkey being satisfied after eating the food.

The clip, which has since garnered over 55,000 views at the time of writing, saw netizens expressing surprise at Letchimi’s calmness and willingness to allow the monkey to feast on her food.
One joked: ‘The monkey is English educated.’
