For those who work jobs that require them to wake up before the sun does, it can be rather exhausting and sometimes they would catch up on some rest by taking a power nap.
A Singaporean man who took to social media to publicly humiliate an airport worker for sleeping on the job backfired horribly on him after netizens rushed to the latter’s defense and told him to mind his own business.
SG man shames airport worker for napping in FB post
In a post shared to the Facebook group Complaint Singapore today, the OP posted two photos, one showing a photo of the apron of Changi Airport which was taken through the plane window, and the other showing an airport worker snoozing away on the cement floor.

In the caption, the OP mockingly thanked the worker for waking up earlier than usual to ensure that his morning flight got off on time before offering him some ‘advice’:
Thank you for waking up early to make sure my early flight take off in time. Don’t blame you needing a quick nap, I sleep on the job too. Just know how to hide from plain view of everyone on the plane will do.
A check by WeirdKaya later found that the original post has since been deleted.
‘Don’t be so kaypoh!’
In the comment section, netizens lashed out at the OP and told him to leave the airport worker alone instead of putting the airport worker’s job on the line with his post.

One chided the OP for his unkind remarks, adding that the worker could have been taking a nap during his rest time.

Another pointed out that those who work at airports are often subjected to exhausting work shifts, which may have been the reason why the worker was seen sleeping on the job.

Let’s all be a little kinder to those who work tirelessly and wake up before dawn as part of their job, shall we?
