There are certain jobs where it requires one to come in contact with the customer’s skin such as working as masseurs or professional waxers.
Unfortunately, these jobs also exposes one to sexual harassment, just like this woman in Johor Bahru who received an obscene request from a male customer.
Offered RM300 for handjob
In a Facebook post shared by Xiao Rou Ng last Tuesday (Aug 8), she shared screenshots of a conversation she had with a customer inquiring of her services.
At the start, the customer asked how much it would cost to have his private parts waxed. As one would expect, things then took a much uglier turn.
I give you RM300. And you give me handjob, can?
Even after Xiao Rou gave the customer a firm ‘no’, he continued to persist and even offered her an extra RM100 to do the dirty deed.
In response, Xiao Rou declined the offer and replied, “Respect please. We are (a) professional waxing shop.”
However, the customer still wasn’t deterred and questioned Xiao Rou over why she chose to forgo the extra ‘income’.
When Xiao Rou told him to try the same approach on his own mother, he became annoyed and chided her for telling him off.
“If you don’t want you can tell me. Not like this. I’m just asking you,” he wrote.
Netizens outraged
The post, which has garnered over 1,000 reaction thus far, saw netizens expressing disgust over the customer’s request and harassment of Xiao Rou.
One advised her to lodge a police report against the man for sexual harassment.
Another commented that she wouldn’t be as polite as Xiao Rou, with another netizen adding that she would have brought a pair of scissors with her to teach the customer a lesson.
Kudos to Xiao Rou for standing her ground against the customer!
